Magic object

A magic object is a thing with a power of its own that the story depends on: a lamp with a genie in it, a ring that grants wishes, a cloak that makes its wearer invisible, a mill that grinds whatever it is asked for. A chest of gold is only valuable, while a purse that refills itself is a magic object as well.
