Deer

A deer is a doe, a stag, a hind or a fawn, and in the Lapland tales a reindeer. One is a princess hunted in the shape of a white doe, one comes every evening to eat a man's corn and cannot be caught, and one, a hind with a gold ring on its horns, draws a prince away from his companions and into the story.
